As we all know, on our walk through Life’s Journey, we are given Golden Nuggets of wisdom passed down to us. We may not know their worth at first, but as we grow, we begin to understand their meaning. I know I picked up thoughtful quotes, funny remarks, and pieces of wisdom passed down to me. Some come from family members, teachers, friends, books, or complete strangers. It’s these golden nuggets that stick with us long after we’ve heard them.
This page is my growing collection of memorable thoughts I have acquired through my years. Some I have heard, while others gathered from books such as Apples of Gold compiled by Jo Petty. In this book, she lovingly shared the sayings she had collected over the years with us. She did not claim them for her own, nor do I. I simply want to pass them on to others. Some of them have made me smile, laugh, reflect, or see life from a different perspective. I hope you enjoy them.
